“The
only place to go for Japanese on Cape Cod.”
Inaho, a Japanese eatery located on Route 6A, truly
has something for everyone. Sushi is, naturally, their
specialty, but they also offer bento boxes, tempura, and
shabu-shabu. The interior is quiet, soothing, and peaceful,
even when crowded. Staff is courteous [however, I have had a few
waiters who were rather pretentious], and they are very
knowledgeable about their dishes.
I recommend the Chef's Special sushi. It comes with
roughly 6 fillets, 6 rolls, and the occasional extra. Worth the
price at $20; I share it with a friend and am always satiated.
However, my first appetizer from there, the baby octopus, was
not as enjoyable as I had hoped, especially for the price (about
$9). For the non-sushi eater, Inaho has arguably the best
teriyaki and tempura on Cape Cod. Worth the price at about $18
per bento box, and once again, portions are very generous. My
dining companion contemplated the shabu-shabu before settling on
the bento box; while she ultimately did not order it, it looked
delicious even from a table away.
Inaho, overall, is the best Japanese eatery the Cape
has to offer. Very clean, very knowledgeable, always delicious,
and the price is right. I have, and will continue to, use them
for my "Japanese fix." Reservations are nearly verbatim,
especially if going on a weekend evening, and they also offer a
full-service bar.
