“A typical Cape Cod dining establishment, with all the amenities of a well-rounded bar & grille.”

The Dolphin is the epitome of a Cape Cod dining establishment.  Their menu consists of the fine seafood options typically available on the Cape, along with the "from the grille" options of a pub.  The prices are a little high, but worth it.  The meals begin with complimentary crackers and fresh, warm dinner rolls. The appetizers are handmade and excellent, especially the hand battered, fried chicken strips. For the entree I ordered an open steak sandwich on a Portuguese roll. It was decent, a little over-cooked but not enough to detract from the enjoyment of my meal. The Dolphin does have a bar, but it appeared to be an after-thought. There was light music playing in the background which was quite enjoyable, and the wait staff was friendly and even humorous. The Dolphin is easily located in West Barnstable directly off of Route 6A.
