The British Beer Company,
affectionately known as the BBC, is an excellent
destination for families and pub-goers alike. The BBC enjoys
three prime locations
on the Cape: right off of Route 6A in Sandwich, across from
Heights Beach in
Falmouth, and on Main Street in Hyannis. The dining rooms, which
can become slightly loud, are Old-World inspired, outfitted in
stately dark woods and a crimson color palate. For dinner, I
chose the “New England Pasty Pie,” a BBC signature among such
other dishes as fish and chips, bourbon tips, and pot roast. My
golden-brown, herb-brushed pastry arrived brimming with turkey,
mashed potato, gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. For a
sub-ten dollar meal, the Pasty Pie was both large in portion and
high in quality. BBC is also recognized throughout the Cape Cod
dining realm for its outstanding pizza selection. Regularly,
customers are invited to savor slices of barbeque chicken,
Philly cheese steak, and “Maui Wowwie” pizzas. Customizing your
pizza is also a tempting option, as the array of BBC toppings is
peppered with many exotic items, such as martini relish,
Caribbean chicken, and pulled pork.
