“A decent value but never to be mistaken for a top choice.” 

            Barbyann's, centrally located on Airport Road (just off Route 132) in Hyannis, is a modern restaurant with a mostly simple, homestyle menu. The ambiance is casual, the cooking is made to satisfy a Cape Codder's appetite, with many local favorites, and the service is friendly. That said, the interior is a bit tacky, the menu a bit sparse, and the service, in my experience, was poor. The food was not bad, but there was a fly in my salad and the wait staff handled the situation poorly. In addition, the location of the restaurant can be a turn-off, in an industrial-feeling area behind the airport. Lastly, the food was a solid value, and worth your money if the service is up to par. I would return, but only reluctantly.
