Veterans Beach

With a delightful view of Lewis Bay, Veterans Beach on Ocean Street in Hyannis is a popular place where families enjoy picnics and cookouts shaded by a pine grove. A large parking lot makes it easy to get a spot on most days. Lewis Bay, the outer section of Hyannis Harbor, is home to the Hyannis Yacht Club at one end of the beach. Beachgoers can admire the many yachts moored off the beach, and watch the small boat races that occur frequently during the summer. Close to the Kennedy Compound, the Kennedy Memorial is adjacent to the beach.

The facilities include a bathhouse, snack bar, picnic area and playground, and lifeguards. Parking cost $10 per day.
