Paines Creek

Going from West to East, Paines Creek is the first bay beach you will find in historic Brewster. The beach is fed on the left by a creek and is perfect for children due to all of the sea creatures they can find. The water is warm and great to swim in at a comfortable 65-70 degrees in the summer. The beach itself is slightly rockier than other Brewster bay beaches such as Breakwater.

Portable toilets are provided during the summer season. The parking lot is limited. Parking permits are available at the Brewster town hall, which is about a mile away. The cost is $5 for residents, and for non-residents it is $8 per day, $25 a week, $45 for two weeks or $75 for the season. Kates Ice Cream is located an easy walk, bike, or drive about ¼ mile down the street, where you can get drinks, fried seafood, hamburgers, and of course ice cream. Beachgoers can also expect a visit from the ice cream truck that cruises the beaches in the summer.

How to get there: Take Paines Creek Road off Route 6A/Main Street in West Brewster
